SMART STEP is a professional hydro-booster designed to activate the lifting process and prepare hair and skin for the procedure. The product enhances the hair’s readiness for chemical treatment while improving its condition from the very beginning of the procedure.

The main function of SMART STEP Activator is to deeply hydrate, activate, and stabilize the hair structure so that subsequent formulations work faster, gentler, and more evenly.

How SMART STEP works?

SMART STEP is not a superficial moisturizer — it works on the level of the internal hair structure.

  • Glycols, sugars, and sodium hyaluronate actively attract and transport moisture into the hair
  • Algin, pullulan, and the polymer matrix (Patch-20) retain moisture during the procedure
  • Amino acids and Zinc PCA stabilize the hair before chemical exposure and improve its ability to retain moisture


As a result, the hair:

  • becomes softer and more elastic
  • is no longer dry or “closed”
  • absorbs active ingredients better
  • responds to lifting and lightening formulas more predictably

How to use

During brow or lash lifting / brow lightening

SMART STEP is ideal for preparing dry, coarse, dense, or damaged hair before professional treatments.

  1. Cleanse lashes or brows using OKO Shampoo Cloudy Foam 3-in-1.
  2. Apply SMART STEP to clean, dry hair.
  3. Leave on for 30 seconds to 1–2 minutes depending on hair condition.
  4. Remove excess product with a dry cotton pad or cotton swab.
  5. Continue with the lifting or lightening procedure.

Home care use

SMART STEP can also be used between treatments as an intensive hydrating treatment for lashes and brows.

  1. Apply a small amount of product and allow it to absorb completely.
  2. If needed, follow with a nourishing or fixing product.

As a makeup base

SMART STEP can also be used as a next-generation hydrating primer.

Apply a thin layer to clean skin, allow 30–60 seconds for absorption, then proceed with makeup application.
